What time are Sunday services and when should I arrive?
Services are at 8:30am and 11:00 am. Please plan on arriving about 15 minutes before service. If you have young children, you may want to arrive a bit earlier for the 11:30 service to get acquainted with the Children's Chapel and Nursery.
Where are you located?
Living Savior Lutheran Church is conveniently located at 5500 Ox Road in Fairfax Station, VA. Our main entrance is on Route 123/Ox Rd., just north of the Burke Centre Parkway . For detailed directions, click here. For first time visitors, feel free to park in our designated "New Visitor" spots.
What should I wear?
At Living Savior Lutheran Church, you will see people of all ages and stages of life. You will see a variety of attire-from blue jeans to coats and ties. We welcome you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
What options are available for families with children or what do you have for kids?
Children of all ages are welcome to attend Sunday services, but if you would like childcare, there are several options available.
On Sunday mornings from 8:15-12:15am, child care is available for babies and young children 0-4years old in our Nursery located on the preschool area of the church. Well-trained staff and volunteers understand that providing a safe, pleasant and clean environment is an all-important step in the spiritual development of children. Our Nursery workers are CPR certified, undergo background checks, and are approved by our Child Protection Policy. Our volunteers are church members and parents who have a heart for children. We ask that parents fill out a nursery information card on their first visit and provide a diaper bag for children who are not potty trained.
For children ages 5-11, we offer Children's Chapel in room 102. Children leave the 11:00 worship service after the Children’s Talk and return to the sanctuary soon after the Pastor’s sermon and prayers.
For all services, coloring and activity books are available at the entrance of the sanctuary.
What else happens on Sundays?
Adult Forum is offered every Sunday starting September 13th at 9:45 am in the main sanctuary, with a variety of topics, guest speakers and programs.
During the school year, Sunday School classes are offered at 9:45-10:45am for pre-K through 12th grade. For more information, check out our Youth page.
After each service, join us the in lobby for refreshments and coffee and meet some great people.
